Contamination of soil is called the process of soil covering degradation, under which the content of chemical matters in it hugely increases. Indicators of this process become living organisms particularly plants, which first suffer from breakage of natural soil content. Herewith, reaction of plants depends on their sensitive level to such changes.
Contamination of grounds can be natural (e.g. while volcano eruption), or anthropogenic (technogenic), when contamination happens due to the human’s fault. In the last case, matters and products get into the ground, which aren’t common to the natural environment and they have negative effect on eco-systems and natural complexes.
